Singles league 1 Promotions

Hi Everyone in Singles League 1,

After some discussion and canvassing of opinions the Singles Premier league is now going to allow 3 players from Singles League 1 to be promoted into that most respected of leagues.

This takes effect immediately so the top 3 will be promoted.

What are the benefits of the Premier League...?

A probable, though it has been mentioned to me, arguable, lift in the standard of play, but I would say that stability is the main benefit as players can only get into the PL by being promoted from SL1, so that means once you're in the PL, and not in the lowest 3 positions you can be certain of remaining in that league and maintaining that quality of the matches played.

Whereas, in SL1 as with the other leagues, dependant on the number of new entrants to the leagues, if you're not in those guaranteed promotion spots, you could find yourself at risk of being relegated.
